Job Description

The Junior Accountant will be placed within the Finance department and will be responsible for providing accounting and administrative support under the supervision of senior accountants and the finance manager. Day-to-day tasks will involve working on the fundamental aspects of bookkeeping and supporting the company's financial operations.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and recording daily journal entries in the general ledger.
• Participate in bookkeeping processes and periodic bank reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of invoices for suppliers and clients and follow up on receivables.
• Assist in the preparation of preliminary financial statements and periodic reports.
• Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation between physical and accounting records.
• Maintain organized physical and electronic archiving of financial documents and accounting entries.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team for assigned tasks.
• Utilize accounting software and financial systems implemented by the company.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience and Skills:
