Qualifications and Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Additional professional certifications (e.g., LEED, membership in a recognized professional body) will be a significant advantage.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in landscape architecture or in a specification engineer role within major construction projects.
- Proven experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region will be highly preferred, given the deep understanding of local standards, regulations, and climatic conditions.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing contractual documents and technical specifications.
Personal and Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and relevant 3D modeling programs (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, Lumion).
- In-depth knowledge of construction systems and materials used in exterior works and landscaping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage time and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is a strong additional advantage.
