Job Description and Responsibilities

The Landscape Design Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the aesthetic and functional aspects of outdoor spaces across the group's portfolio. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, the manager will help realize the vision of creating sustainable and captivating green spaces that enhance project value and the experience of residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing the overall landscape design concept for residential, commercial, and leisure projects.
• Overseeing the design process from initial concept through to final implementation, including the preparation of drawings and technical specifications.
• Managing and directing a team of designers and consultant engineers to ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Close coordination with Real Estate Development, Projects, and Marketing departments to ensure landscape design aligns with the overall project vision.
• Reviewing and evaluating contractor and supplier bids for plant materials and hardscape elements.
• Ensuring compliance with local and international environmental standards and promoting sustainable practices in all designs.
• Conducting regular site visits to project locations to supervise implementation quality and resolve any technical issues.
• Staying abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and materials in landscape architecture and garden design.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field. A Master's degree is a distinct advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience in landscape design, with a strong focus on major luxury real estate projects. This must include at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, 3D modeling software (such as SketchUp, 3ds Max), and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign).
• Knowledge: Deep knowledge of native and climate-appropriate plant species for the Gulf region, exterior construction materials, smart irrigation systems, and sustainable design principles.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and superior negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Certifications: A license or membership with a recognized professional body in Landscape Architecture will be highly regarded.
