Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Technical and Administrative Leadership: Lead the Managed Infrastructure Services team, guide its members, develop their skills, and ensure the achievement of team goals and excellent performance.
• Operations and Service Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of managed infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and hybrid cloud systems, ensuring their stability and security.
• Strategy Planning and Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of infrastructure development strategies aligned with client objectives and evolving needs.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as a key technical point of contact with clients to understand their requirements, present performance reports, and ensure their complete satisfaction with the services provided.
• Compliance with Standards: Ensure all operations and systems comply with cybersecurity standards and industry best practices (such as ITIL).
• Project and Change Management: Oversee infrastructure upgrade or migration projects and manage change processes effectively to minimize risk and disruption.
• Budget and Cost Management: Assist in monitoring operational costs and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Higher degrees may be an added advantage.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and operations, with proven experience of at least 3 years in leadership or supervisory roles over technical teams.
• Deep Technical Knowledge: Extensive hands-on experience managing server environments (Windows/Linux), virtualization systems (VMware/Hyper-V), storage and networking solutions, and infrastructure cybersecurity concepts. Knowledge of hybrid and on-premise cloud (Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud) is highly desirable.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent ability to lead and motivate a team, manage performance, and develop talent. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional Certifications: Recognized professional certifications such as ITIL Expert/Manager, project management certifications (PMP), or advanced technical certifications from vendors like Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware are preferred.
• Personal Skills: Strong analytical and proactive skills, ability to work under pressure and solve complex problems, and commitment to high-quality standards.
