Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Lead Planner will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective planning and precise schedule control for the company's major projects in Kuwait. The core responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing the project planning and scheduling team.
• Preparing and analyzing comprehensive project programs using advanced planning software (such as Primavera P6) and project management methodologies.

• Providing technical support during the tender phase by preparing realistic preliminary programs.
• Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards in all planning and reporting activities.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field. A postgraduate degree would be an added advantage.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in planning and scheduling for major construction projects, with a proven focus on infrastructure, marine works, or oil & gas projects.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is a mandatory requirement. Knowledge of MS Project and advanced Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, with excellent communication and persuasion skills.
• Analytical Skills: Superior ability to analyze complex data, foresee problems, and develop practical solutions.
• Language: Excellent command of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic is a beneficial asset in the Kuwaiti job market.
