Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The appointed Legal Consultant will play a central role in providing legal support and advisory services to the company for all its operational activities within the Kingdom. The core responsibilities expected for this role include:

• Providing legal advice and guidance to management and various operational divisions of the company on relevant Saudi laws and regulations.
• Reviewing, drafting, and analyzing various types of contracts and agreements (project contracts, contractor agreements, cooperation agreements, procurement contracts, etc.) to ensure legal compliance and protect the company's interests.
• Managing legal cases and disputes the company may encounter, and coordinating with external law firms when necessary.
• Ensuring the company's compliance with local regulations, particularly those related to foreign investment, labor, and contracts in the engineering and consultancy sector.
• Participating in negotiations related to the legal terms of contracts and agreements.
• Preparing and updating the company's internal legal templates and policies.
• Staying abreast of developments and amendments in Saudi legislation that impact the company's business.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Nationality: Must be a Saudi National (this is a mandatory requirement for application).
2. Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university. A Master's degree in a relevant legal field or a legal practice certificate will be a strong advantage.
3. Experience: Proven practical experience of at least 3 to 5 years in legal consultancy, preferably within the engineering, construction, energy, or international consulting firm sectors.
4. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Saudi systems, laws, and regulations, particularly the Companies Law, Labor Law, Contracts Law, and commercial regulations.
5. Skills:
   • Excellent analytical and advisory skills.
   • Superior ability to draft and review legal documents and contracts in both Arabic and English.
   • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
   • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
   • High degree of professionalism and integrity.
