Job Overview

The Legal Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all legal aspects of the company. This position holds a pivotal role in safeguarding the company's interests by providing sound legal counsel, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations, and managing legal risk. The incumbent will work closely with senior management and various departments to provide proactive legal support that underpins business objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement the company's legal strategy in alignment with its overall business goals.
• Advisory & Representation: Provide legal advice to management and all departments on a wide range of matters, including contracts, corporate affairs, regulatory compliance, and commercial issues.
• Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of all contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure the company's interests are protected.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Identify and assess potential legal risks and develop policies and procedures to mitigate them. Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Dispute Management: Manage any disputes or litigation involving the company, coordinating with external law firms as necessary.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and develop the internal legal team (if applicable).
• Legal Updates: Stay abreast of the latest developments in legislation and regulations affecting the company's business sector.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university. A Master's degree in Law or an advanced professional legal qualification will be a distinct advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of practical experience in the legal field, with proven experience in a managerial or leadership role (Legal Manager or Senior Counsel) for at least 3 years.
• Jurisdiction: In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian labor, commercial, and corporate laws and systems. Experience dealing with Saudi regulatory authorities is required.
• Skills: Excellent leadership and managerial skills. Superior analytical and complex problem-solving abilities. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Personal Attributes: A proactive leader, able to work under pressure, with high integrity and strong negotiation skills.
