Manager – Supply Chain & Logistics (Parts Division) - Saud Bahwan Group

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Manager will be responsible for leading and developing all aspects of the supply chain and logistics operations for the Parts Division. The focus will be on ensuring a smooth and effective flow of goods from suppliers through warehouses to end customers or points of sale. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing supply chain and logistics strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of the division and the group.
• Operations Management: Overseeing inventory planning, procurement, warehouse management, and distribution operations for parts.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process optimization to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve customer service levels.
• Vendor & Relationship Management: Building and managing strong relationships with local and international suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating contracts to secure the best terms.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensuring all operations comply with local and international regulations, quality standards, and safety policies.
• Team Leadership: Guiding and developing the supply chain and logistics team, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment.
• Reporting & Analytics: Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), preparing detailed performance reports for senior management, and utilizing data for informed decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a strong advantage.
• Work Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management, ideally with a focus on the parts division, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or related industries. Experience must include at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications like SAP or Oracle, and data analysis tools. In-depth knowledge of warehouse and transportation management principles.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and managerial abilities. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English. Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions under pressure. Results-oriented with the capability to work in a dynamic environment.
