Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Managing Consultant for Integrated Health Solutions will occupy a pivotal and strategic role within Medtronic's Saudi Arabia team. This individual will be the primary driver in leading and developing integrated consulting initiatives aimed at improving healthcare outcomes and enhancing operational efficiency within partner healthcare institutions. The role is not purely technical; it blends a deep understanding of advanced medical technology with healthcare service management to design and implement comprehensive solutions.

Core responsibilities for this leadership position include:

  • Developing Integrated Solution Strategies: Collaborating with senior clients from hospitals and medical centers to identify their operational and clinical needs, and designing value-based proposals leveraging Medtronic's portfolio of products and solutions to address them.
  • Leading Consulting Projects: Managing the entire lifecycle of major consulting engagements, from analysis and planning through to execution and measurement, ensuring agreed-upon objectives are met within the stipulated timeline and budget.
  • Building Strategic Partnerships: Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector, including decision-makers at ministries, health authorities, and major medical institutions.
  • Performance Analysis and Measurement: Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of implemented solutions on improving patient care quality, reducing operational costs, and increasing provider productivity.
  • Technical and Consultative Representation: Acting as the expert liaison between the client and the company's internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Technical Support) to ensure the delivery of outstanding and continuous value.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

Medtronic is seeking candidates with a strong, proven background in healthcare consulting or medical service management, coupled with a deep understanding of the Saudi and Gulf market dynamics.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Biomedical Engineering, Public Health, Nursing, or Medicine. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, Healthcare Management) is a significant advantage.
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional experience in healthcare consulting, major medical project management, or business development within the medical technology sector.
  • Proven prior experience working with or within major hospitals and health systems in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region.
  • Broad knowledge of medical technology products and solutions, preferably with prior experience working for a global company in this field.

Personal and Professional Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and persuade C-level decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical ability to process complex data and translate it into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Full professional proficiency in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
