Job Description and Responsibilities

The Mechanic Supervisor will play a central role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all mechanical systems and facility utilities within the hotel. This position entails direct daily supervision of the mechanical maintenance technician team and coordination of their tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and planning preventive and corrective maintenance work for the hotel's mechanical systems, which may include HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing systems, pumps, motors, and general mechanical equipment.
• Directing, training, and evaluating the performance of mechanical maintenance technicians to ensure tasks are completed in line with global Four Seasons standards and safety protocols.
• Diagnosing complex malfunctions in mechanical systems and proposing effective and cost-efficient solutions.
• Ensuring full compliance with all local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations in all operations.
• Managing the inventory of mechanical spare parts and tools, and initiating purchase requisitions as needed.

• Contributing to the preparation of regular technical reports on system performance and maintenance status.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Technology, or a related field.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with at least 2 years of proven experience in a supervisory or lead role. Experience in the luxury hotel sector, major residential complexes, or commercial facilities is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, hydraulic systems, and general mechanics. Ability to read engineering and technical drawings.
