Job Description

The Mechanical Fitter will be stationed at the client's site, managed by Talentrio, and will be responsible for a range of critical technical tasks. The role involves working under the supervision of engineers and foremen to ensure work is carried out with high precision according to required standards and technical specifications.

Key expected responsibilities and duties include:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics for mechanical components and systems.
• Assembling and installing various mechanical parts and components, such as piping, valves, pumps, turbines, or industrial machinery.
• Performing measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping of metal materials using appropriate hand and power tools.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• A Diploma in Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized institute or college.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, or maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of mechanical and engineering principles.
• High proficiency in using hand and power tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers, drilling machines, cutting tools).
• Ability to read and comprehend technical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to mechanical work.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
• Proficiency in English for basic workplace communication (reading instructions, communicating with supervisors).
