Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating Clinical Information System (CIS) operations within an advanced healthcare environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the daily operation of Clinical Information Systems and ensuring their availability and stability
- Serving as a crucial liaison between the nursing department and information technology teams
- Analyzing and evaluating clinical user needs to improve workflow and user experience
- Participating in the development, implementation, and optimization of clinical workflows within the system
- Providing technical support and training to nursing staff for effective system utilization
- Contributing to system upgrade projects and integration of new technological solutions
- Ensuring system compliance with local and international regulations and policies
- Preparing reports and analyzing data to support clinical and administrative decision-making
Requirements and Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (essential requirement)
- Certification in Health Informatics or Information Technology (significant advantage)
- Valid nursing license in Qatar or eligibility to obtain one
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting
- Proven hands-on experience working with Clinical Information Systems (CIS) or Electronic Patient Records (EPR)
- Experience in project management or process improvement within a healthcare context
- Deep understanding of clinical workflows and nursing documentation requirements
Technical and Personal Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare applications and information systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Training and coaching skills for clinical staff
- Proficiency in English (Arabic language skills are an advantage)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
