Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The appointed Occupational Therapist Specialist will perform a range of vital duties within a multidisciplinary team, including:

  • Treatment Planning: Design and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans to help patients develop, recover, improve, or maintain daily living and work skills.

  • Patient & Family Education: Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on coping strategies, the use of adaptive equipment, and home modifications.

  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with all applicable protocols, ethical standards, and professional guidelines in Qatar and the global occupational therapy field.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be eligible for this premier career opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid occupational therapy practice license from your home country. Preference will be given to candidates with Qatari licensure or who have completed the requirements for accreditation in Qatar.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience as an Occupational Therapist, with preferred experience in settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or specialized clinics.
