Job Overview

The Operation Manager will occupy a pivotal role within the company's management structure, being directly responsible for overseeing daily operational workflows, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness, and aligning them with high-quality standards and service goals. He/She will work closely with department heads and senior management to improve procedures, streamline processes, and lead development initiatives that boost productivity and profitability.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operations, preparing regular reports for senior management.

  • Identify weaknesses in current processes and propose innovative solutions for continuous development and improvement.
  • Oversee supply chain, inventory, and operational project management.
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Lead change initiatives and adopt modern technologies that enhance operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a similar leadership role (Operations Manager or General Manager).
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced business environment, with a track record of process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • In-depth understanding of Total Quality Management principles, supply chain management, and financial planning.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
  • High-level analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic will be a significant advantage.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and report to senior management.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure and make decisive decisions.
