Job Overview

The Operation Supervisor plays a central role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of daily operations. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for supervising the operations team, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and achieving defined operational objectives within the set schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise daily operations and implement operational plans.
• Lead and guide the operations team to ensure high levels of productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and support for development.
• Ensure strict adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols and relevant regulations.
• Optimize the management of available resources (human and material) to avoid waste and ensure effective utilization.
• Coordinate with other departments such as warehousing, transport, and customer service to achieve operational integration.
• Prepare regular reports on operational progress, performance, and any challenges or improvement proposals.
• Address any emergent operational issues promptly and effectively to minimize service disruption.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of procedures and processes to enhance overall performance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proven work experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar supervisory role (Operations Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Team Lead).
• In-depth understanding of logistics and supply chain principles and practices.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to analyze data and use it for decision-making.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in using computer systems, Microsoft Office suite, and relevant operational software applications.
• Flexibility to work, occasionally outside standard hours when required.
