Job Description and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be stationed at an Al Mulla Exchange branch or office, the group's specialized arm for foreign exchange and international remittance services. The core focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Key responsibilities are expected to include:
- Customer Service: Greeting customers and processing their requests professionally and efficiently, whether for foreign currency exchange, local and international money transfers, or other offered services.
- Cash Handling: Executing financial transactions with high accuracy, verifying required documentation, and ensuring full compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Administrative Duties: Assisting with the daily administrative tasks of the branch, which may include record-keeping, cash reconciliation, and preparing routine reports.
- Compliance: Strict adherence to the laws and regulations of the Central Bank of Kuwait and other regulatory bodies concerning Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) and Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols.
- Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with other team members to achieve branch goals and foster a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline.
- Experience: Preferably 1 to 3 years of prior experience in a similar field, such as working in banks, exchange companies, financial institutions, or customer service within a fast-paced sector. Highly motivated fresh graduates may also be considered.
- Personal Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to work accurately and swiftly under pressure.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Integrity, reliability, and a professional appearance.
- Ability to learn quickly and use job-specific computer systems.
- Basic Requirements: Applicants must hold a valid residency permit in Kuwait (for non-Kuwaiti nationals).
