Oracle EBS OPM, EAM & SCM Consultant - Sur, Oman

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful consultant will be integrated into a specialized advisory team, with core responsibilities focused on implementing, supporting, and enhancing Oracle EBS solutions for clients. Primary duties will include:

• Implementation & Configuration: Leading or actively participating in implementation projects for Oracle OPM, EAM, and SCM modules. This involves analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, and configuring the system according to best practices to meet client objectives.
• Support & Maintenance: Providing advanced technical support to end-users, resolving complex issues related to the aforementioned modules, and performing system upgrades and periodic updates.
• Integration & Testing: Ensuring seamless integration of OPM, EAM, and SCM modules with other Oracle EBS modules (like Finance, Inventory) or with third-party systems. Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure system quality and reliability.
• Training & Documentation: Preparing user training materials and conducting effective training sessions. Creating and maintaining relevant technical and operational documentation.
• Consultation: Advising clients on process improvements using Oracle EBS capabilities and suggesting enhancements to boost operational efficiency, asset management, and supply chain operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Practical Experience: Proven hands-on experience of at least 5 years in an Oracle E-Business Suite consultant or technical support role, with a strong focus on one or more of the following modules:
  • OPM (Oracle Process Manufacturing): Deep understanding of process manufacturing, production recipes, quality management, and process costs.
  • EAM (Enterprise Asset Management): Experience in asset management, equipment maintenance, spare parts management, and maintenance scheduling.
  • SCM (Supply Chain Management): Comprehensive knowledge of modules like Inventory Management, Purchasing, Order Management, and Planning.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in the Oracle EBS environment, Oracle databases, and SQL. Knowledge of PL/SQL and Reports will be a significant added advantage.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English. Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently. Flexibility to travel within the Sultanate of Oman if required.
• Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems.
