Job Description

The Package Equipment Engineer will be responsible for the technical and engineering aspects related to packaging and equipment systems within the company's projects. This role is central to ensuring operational efficiency, reliability, and compliance with the highest standards of quality and safety in the industrial sector, particularly within clean energy and environmental technology projects.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Design & Engineering: Contribute to the design, specification, and review of plans for package equipment and systems for industrial projects.
• Technical Supervision: Provide technical support across various project phases, including procurement, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all equipment conforms to technical specifications, industry standards (such as ASME, API), and applicable safety requirements.
• Troubleshooting: Analyze operational or performance issues with packaging equipment and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Coordination: Work closely with procurement teams, contractors, and engineers from other disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, control) to ensure seamless equipment integration.
• Documentation: Prepare and update technical documentation, design reports, and operation & maintenance manuals.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field from an accredited university.
• Additional professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Chartered Engineer status) will be a strong advantage.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in package equipment engineering, rotating equipment, or mechanical systems within industrial sectors such as: Oil & Gas, Power, or Chemical Processing.
• Prior experience working on clean energy or environmental technology projects is a significant plus.
• In-depth understanding of relevant international design and safety standards.

Personal and Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and engineering software.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities for complex issues.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and in a multicultural environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Flexibility and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
