Job Description and Responsibilities

The Palace Manager will be entrusted with a wide range of vital administrative and operational responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Providing strategic and operational leadership to all palace departments and staff. This includes recruitment, training, development, and direct supervision of department heads and personnel to ensure harmonious and efficient performance.
  • Daily Operations Management: Overseeing all aspects of the palace's daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. This encompasses managing schedules, resource allocation, and quality control across all services provided.
  • Operational Excellence: Establishing and implementing high-level operational standards for all areas, including hospitality services, maintenance, security, and logistics. Ensuring compliance with the highest local and international quality and safety protocols.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Responsibility for preparing and controlling the annual operational budget. Managing expenditures effectively and ensuring optimal utilization of physical and human resources to meet financial and operational objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Professional Experience: Proven experience of at least 8-10 years in managing luxury facilities, five-star hotels, palaces, or high-end residential estates. Experience in the Middle East region, particularly the UAE, is highly preferred.
  • Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or Hotel Management. A postgraduate degree (Master's) or professional certifications in facilities management are a strong advantage.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead and motivate diverse teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
  • Organizational Skills: Superior organizational ability and priority management in a fast-paced, complex environment. Meticulous attention to detail and precision.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles and budget management, with the ability to analyze data and make sound financial decisions.
  • Local Knowledge: Good knowledge of the Gulf Arab culture and customs, and an understanding of local laws and regulations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is paramount.
