Job Overview
The People & Culture Manager will be the strategic leader responsible for driving and developing all aspects of human capital management within the OUR HABITAS community in Qatar. This role will focus on building and sustaining an exceptional workplace culture that aligns with the brand's core values of authenticity, adventure, connection, and personal growth. Moving beyond traditional HR, this position seeks a leader who can embed the "People & Culture" philosophy into every facet of the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead a comprehensive People & Culture strategy tailored to the unique OUR HABITAS environment in Qatar.
- Develop and implement initiatives to attract and recruit top talent that aligns with the company's culture and values.
- Design innovative development and training programs focused on the personal and professional growth of all team members.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to continuous development, ensuring a positive journey.
- Foster an inclusive, diverse, and cohesive work environment that supports well-being and belonging.
- Oversee compensation & benefits, performance review, and employee relations in line with local and international best practices and Qatari labor laws.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership to align business goals with workforce strategy.
- Establish open and effective communication channels to ensure high employee engagement and voice.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources, with proven experience in a leadership role (Manager or Senior Officer level) within the luxury hospitality, hotel, or experiential travel sector.
- In-depth understanding of the Qatari labor market, employment laws, and local regulations.
- A proven track record of developing and implementing successful people/culture or HR strategies in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication and listening skills, with the ability to inspire and build trust with diverse teams.
- An innovative and creative mindset, with a passion for building unique and positive organizational culture.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is a strong advantage.
