Job Description

The appointed Physical Therapist will be responsible for a core set of clinical duties within the FUTURE CARE medical facility, including:

• Developing, implementing, and managing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, with clear short-term and long-term goals.
• Administering hands-on physical therapy treatments using advanced modalities and techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
• Monitoring patient progress meticulously, documenting all treatments and outcomes, and adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatment protocols, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure integrated patient care.
• Adhering strictly to the highest standards of professional ethics, patient safety, and medical confidentiality.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development programs offered by the institution.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy from a recognized and accredited university. A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related specialty will be a significant advantage.
• Licensure: Candidates must possess a valid and active professional license to practice as a Physical Therapist from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). This is a mandatory prerequisite for employment.
• Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Physical Therapist. Experience in clinics, medical centers, or hospitals is preferred. Experience with a diverse patient caseload (orthopedic, neurological, sports injuries, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and colleagues. Empathy, patience, and a supportive demeanor. Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management and organizational abilities.

• Language: Fluency in Arabic is essential for direct patient communication. Proficiency in English is highly advantageous for handling medical documentation and working within a potentially multicultural team.
