  • Maintenance and Repair Recommendations: Preparing detailed technical reports that include recommendations for required repair, replacement, or reinforcement actions, along with timelines and priorities.
  • Compliance with Standards: Ensuring all processes and reports comply with applicable local and international standards and regulations in the oil and gas sector (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with engineering, maintenance, operations, and safety teams to implement integrity plans and ensure effective communication.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field. A Master's degree or specialized professional certifications (e.g., in integrity management or corrosion) is a strong advantage.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in pipeline integrity engineering, or in closely related fields such as corrosion engineering, risk assessment, or maintenance engineering within the oil and gas sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep proficiency in stress and fitness-for-service analysis software (e.g., Finite Element Analysis) and pipeline data management software. Working knowledge of relevant standards like API 570, API 579, ASME B31G/B31.8S.
  • Personal Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Outstanding written and verbal communication and reporting skills in both Arabic and English. Ability to work effectively within a team and in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Professional Certifications: Preference will be given to candidates holding recognized professional certifications such as NACE Certified Corrosion Technician/Technologist, or certifications in integrity management.
