Job Description

The Piping Commissioning Specialist will be deployed to offshore work sites in Qatar. The primary responsibility will be to ensure all piping systems on the offshore facility are ready for safe and efficient operation according to the highest international standards and project specifications.

Key expected responsibilities and duties include:

• Planning and supervising all commissioning activities for piping systems on the offshore facility.
• Conducting hydrostatic, pneumatic, and other pressure and safety tests on pipelines and fittings.
• Reviewing and inspecting Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and piping specifications for compliance during the commissioning phase.
• Coordinating with engineering, construction, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth handover processes.
• Preparing detailed reports on commissioning and testing progress, documenting any non-conformances or faults.
• Ensuring full compliance with all stringent Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures in place for offshore sites.
• Training and mentoring less experienced technicians and engineers on correct procedures and protocols.
• Participating in the system handover from the construction team to the permanent operations team.

Requirements and Qualifications
