Job Description and Responsibilities

The PMV Manager will be the primary person responsible for the comprehensive and end-to-end management of all company equipment, machinery, and vehicles. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies and procedures for PMV fleet management, aiming to enhance productivity, reduce operational costs, and extend asset lifecycles.
  • Maintenance Management: Oversee a comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance program for all equipment. This includes scheduling periodic inspections, repairs, ensuring spare parts availability, and strict adherence to manufacturer maintenance schedules and local standards.
  • Daily Operations: Plan and coordinate the deployment of equipment and vehicles to various projects or departments to ensure optimal utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Budget and Cost Management: Prepare and monitor budgets related to maintenance, fuel, spare parts, and new acquisitions. Analyze costs and report on fleet performance in terms of financial efficiency.

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Extensive practical experience may be an acceptable substitute in some cases.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in managing heavy equipment, vehicles, and machinery (PMV), with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Experience in a major construction, industrial, or logistics project environment is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical principles of heavy equipment and vehicles.
