Job Overview
The Procurement Executive will be placed within the company's Procurement or Supply Chain department. The primary responsibility will be to manage and execute purchasing and procurement activities to ensure the company acquires necessary materials and services with high quality, at competitive prices, and in a timely manner. This role is crucial in supporting the company's real estate activities, which may include development, construction, operations, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Purchase Order Management: Execute day-to-day procurement processes, including Request for Quotation (RFQ), vendor comparison, Purchase Order (PO) issuance, and delivery follow-up.
- Vendor Management: Source new suppliers, evaluate the performance of existing vendors, and build strong working relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure full compliance with the company's internal procurement policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations.
- Inventory Monitoring: Coordinate with warehouse and project departments to monitor inventory levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Negotiations: Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and enhance value for the company.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and analyze procurement and budget-related reports, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Projects, Finance, and Operations to understand and fulfill their requirements effectively.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven work experience of 3 to 5 years in procurement or supply chain roles. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the real estate, construction, or related industries.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for procurement is a significant advantage.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Arabic.
