Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Product Specialist at Aspen Holdings will play a central role in the company's value chain. He/She will be the primary owner of the product lifecycle within their assigned geographical territory in the Jeddah region. Core responsibilities include:

• Marketing & Sales: Developing and executing marketing and sales strategies for assigned pharmaceutical products to achieve defined financial and growth targets.
• Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing strong professional relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including physicians, pharmacists, and hospital/clinic managers.
• Medical Education: Delivering presentations and organizing scientific seminars to educate healthcare professionals on the efficacy, safety, and uses of the company's products, adhering fully to ethical and regulatory guidelines.
• Market Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing local market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide strategic reports and recommendations to management.
• Technical Support: Acting as a liaison between the market and internal teams (e.g., marketing, development, logistics support) to provide valuable feedback on product performance and customer needs.
• Planning & Reporting: Preparing detailed action plans and periodic reports on achievements, challenges, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or any related Life Sciences field. A Master's degree in Business Administration or Marketing is a distinct advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar role (e.g., Medical Representative, Product Specialist) within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry in the Saudi market. Experience with Aspen's products or within the company's therapeutic areas of focus will be highly regarded.
• Knowledge: A strong understanding of medical and pharmaceutical principles, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of Saudi health regulations (e.g., Saudi Food and Drug Authority - SFDA).
• Personal Skills:

  • Strong persuasion and relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel within the Jeddah area as required.
