Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Project Director will occupy a pivotal role within the company, with comprehensive responsibilities including:

• Strategic Leadership: Defining the overall vision and strategy for the project, ensuring alignment with the company's broader strategic objectives.
• End-to-End Management: Assuming full accountability for the entire project lifecycle, encompassing planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Team Leadership: Leading and directing a multidisciplinary team comprising project managers, engineers, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Motivating the team to deliver to the highest performance standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Acting as the primary interface between the company, clients, contractors, vendors, and other relevant parties. Ensuring effective communication and expectation management.
• Cost & Quality Control: Developing detailed budgets and maintaining rigorous cost control, ensuring project execution stays within allocated financial resources while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Risk Management: Proactively identifying potential risks to project delivery, developing mitigation plans, and implementing corrective actions.
• Reporting: Providing clear and comprehensive periodic reports to senior management on project progress, budget status, risks, and milestones.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this senior leadership role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree in Project Management or Business Administration (MBA) is a strong advantage.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role as a Project Director or Program Manager on large-scale, complex projects. Experience in the GCC region, specifically the Saudi market, is a significant advantage.
• Professional Certification: A globally recognized project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 is highly desired or often required.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams, coupled with exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability to interpret data, solve complex problems, and make strategic decisions under pressure.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic will be a distinct advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of modern project management software and related tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
