Project Fitout Manager - RNA Resources Group Limited (Dubai)
RNA Resources Group Limited is actively recruiting for the position of Project Fitout Manager in the dynamic city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Job Description and Responsibilities
The Project Fitout Manager will hold a pivotal role within the team, bearing full responsibility for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to final handover. Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership and Planning: Leading the project team including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Developing detailed project plans encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and ensuring strict adherence to them.
- Execution Management: Directly supervising all fit-out and finishing operations on-site. This includes MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works, drywall and painting, flooring and ceiling installations, carpentry, joinery, and glazing works.
- Quality and Safety Control: Ensuring all works are executed according to the highest quality standards and agreed technical specifications, with full compliance to local Dubai Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Selecting and evaluating the performance of contractors and suppliers, reviewing technical and financial proposals, and managing contracts to ensure services are delivered as specified and on schedule.
- Cost Control: Preparing and meticulously controlling the project budget, monitoring expenditures, generating regular financial performance reports, and working towards financial efficiency.
- Communication and Coordination: Acting as the primary point of contact for the client, providing regular progress updates, managing expectations, and coordinating with design consultants and architects.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are a strong advantage.
- Work Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of proven experience in managing interior fit-out and finishing projects, with a track record of successfully delivered projects in sectors like commercial offices, retail spaces, hotels, or luxury residential developments. Experience in the Dubai or wider UAE market is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of interior construction phases, finishing materials, and MEP systems. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings and details.
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and managerial abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all levels. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure. High attention to detail and accuracy. Superior organizational and time-management skills.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is a beneficial advantage.
Work Location
The position will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with travel required between the main office and various project sites across the emirate.
