Project Manager - Construction Jobs at LEAD Real Estate Developer (Abu Dhabi)

Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The appointed Construction Project Manager will hold a pivotal leadership role, responsible for the end-to-end oversight of the project lifecycle from initial planning to final handover. Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership & Planning: Leading the multi-disciplinary project team (engineers, contractors, consultants) and developing comprehensive project plans encompassing schedule, budget, resources, and risk management.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Preparing detailed budgets, meticulously monitoring costs, and ensuring project execution within the defined financial framework while maximizing efficiency.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Overseeing the implementation of the highest quality standards across all construction phases, and enforcing strict adherence to local and international Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations on-site.
- Schedule Management: Monitoring work progress daily/weekly, identifying and addressing potential delays, and taking corrective actions to ensure adherence to agreed deadlines.
- Coordination & Communication: Acting as the central liaison between all stakeholders, including senior management, clients, consultants, and contractors. Preparing detailed periodic reports on project status.
- Contract & Procurement Management: Reviewing and monitoring the execution of contracts with contractors and suppliers, and managing the procurement of materials and equipment.
Qualifications and Core Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CIOB) are a significant advantage.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large to medium-scale projects. Prior experience in the real estate development sector within the GCC, specifically the UAE, is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in construction methods and procedures, comprehensive knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi Emirate. Excellent skills in using project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and BIM tools.
- Personal Skills & Leadership Abilities:
- Strong leadership capabilities with motivational team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions under pressure.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
