Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The selected expert will be placed in a pivotal role that bridges the technical aspects of projects and human resources, ensuring successful implementation and adoption. The core responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing and Implementing Change Management Strategies: Developing comprehensive change management plans for major projects, aimed at reducing resistance and increasing acceptance and performance among end-users and stakeholders.
  • Developing and Delivering Training Programs: Analyzing skill gaps and establishing effective training methodologies that meet project needs. This includes designing training materials (online, in-person, blended) and conducting training sessions and workshops.
  • Communication and Awareness: Leading project communication efforts to ensure accurate and timely information reaches all organizational levels, building support and stakeholder commitment.
  • Managing Change Resistance: Identifying potential sources of resistance and developing proactive mitigation plans, acting as a bridge between project teams and users.
  • Measuring Effectiveness and Evaluation: Establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of training and change management initiatives, and reporting on progress and impact on project objectives.
  • Working within a Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, client stakeholders, and internal company resources to achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is a strong advantage.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in organizational change management and training, with a strong focus on implementation within major projects (construction, technology, transformational). Experience in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is highly valued.
  • Professional Certifications: Preference for candidates holding recognized certifications in Change Management (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, CCMP) or Training and Development.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite, and good knowledge of project management tools and e-Learning authoring tools.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English (essential).
    • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills for complex situations.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Leadership, teamwork, and the ability to inspire others.
