Job Description

The QC Inspector will be stationed at the project site and will be primarily responsible for ensuring that all materials and executed works comply with approved specifications, standards, and relevant regulations. Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting routine and ongoing inspections of incoming materials, components, work-in-progress, and finished products at the worksite.
• Monitoring installation, construction, or manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with design plans and specified quality standards.
• Utilizing appropriate measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, thickness gauges, Non-Destructive Testing - NDT equipment if applicable) to perform checks.
• Accurately documenting inspection findings and preparing detailed reports on any non-conformities or defects identified.

• Ensuring all site safety and quality procedures are followed.
• Participating in quality reviews and project-related meetings.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology).
• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a similar QC Inspector role, preferably within the construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors in the Middle East region, specifically Saudi Arabia.
• Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and project specifications. Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) fundamentals will be a strong added advantage.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Personal Attributes: The ability to work independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a professional and firm stance when rejecting non-conforming materials or work.
• Other: Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of the Arabic language is considered a beneficial addition.

Work Environment and Location
