Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The appointed Quality Control Officer will be integrated into the center's Quality Assurance and Improvement team. The core focus will be on monitoring and evaluating all operational and clinical aspects to ensure compliance with established policies and local/international regulations. The primary responsibilities for this role include:

• Developing and implementing periodic quality control plans for various medical departments and services.
• Conducting internal audits and reviews of work systems and procedures.
• Collecting, analyzing, and reporting on quality and safety-related data and metrics (Key Performance Indicators).
• Investigating quality-related incidents and patient complaints, identifying root causes, and formulating corrective and preventive action plans.
• Ensuring that medical and nursing staff possess and maintain the required certifications and licenses.
• Contributing to the preparation of periodic quality performance reports for the center's management and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Organizing awareness and training sessions for staff on quality management and safety concepts and systems.
• Continuously reviewing and updating policies and procedures to align with global best practices.
• Ensuring ongoing preparedness for assessments and accreditation processes by local and international health authorities.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered a suitable candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Hospital Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or any medical/health discipline. A postgraduate qualification in Quality Management or Public Health may be preferred.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in quality control and assurance within a healthcare facility (hospital, specialized medical center, large clinic). Experience in a specialized medical environment is a distinct advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of quality management principles (e.g., ISO, Lean, Six Sigma) and healthcare accreditation standards (e.g., JCI, CBHAI, Kuwait National Standards). Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office software.
• Personal Skills: Excellent analytical and investigative skills. Effective communication abilities across all managerial and clinical levels. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Integrity and strict confidentiality.
