Job Overview
The Quality Manager will hold a vital leadership position, ensuring all processes, products, and services comply with the highest global quality standards set by Airbus and international regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and develop the comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) for Airbus site operations, aligning with industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international regulatory requirements for the aerospace and aviation sector.
- Oversee internal and external audit and inspection processes, preparing necessary reports for senior management.
- Analyze quality data, identify improvement trends, and lead defect reduction and recurrence prevention initiatives.
- Guide the quality team, develop their professional competencies, and foster a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization.
- Act as a key point of contact with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues and assurance.
- Manage contract review and design review processes to ensure quality requirements are embedded in all phases.
- Investigate incidents or non-conformances and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or equivalent). A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Quality Management, with a strong focus on the aviation, aerospace, or defense industries.
- Deep, certified knowledge of industry-specific quality standards (e.g., AS9100) and regulatory body requirements (EASA, FAA, GACAR).
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing a QMS in a complex manufacturing or maintenance environment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills using methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with proficiency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic will be a significant advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change towards continuous improvement.
