Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Quality Manager will be tasked with leading and developing the company's comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS). He/She will be the primary authority responsible for translating the company's top-level quality strategy into actionable plans and ensuring compliance across all departments. The core responsibilities of this leadership role include:

  • Leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of the quality management strategy and systems across all company divisions.
  • Ensuring full compliance with recognized international standards such as ISO 9001 and other relevant industry-specific standards.
  • Managing internal audit processes and ensuring their effectiveness in identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
  • Leading non-conformance investigations and establishing effective Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) procedures.
  • Working closely with department heads and teams to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Preparing and presenting quality performance reports to senior management, highlighting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and strategic recommendations.
  • Overseeing the training and development of employees on QMS principles and requirements.
  • Representing the company during external quality audits conducted by certification bodies or key clients.
  • Reviewing and developing quality-related documentation such as policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or specialized professional certifications (e.g., CQM, Lead Auditor) will be a strong advantage.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in quality management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role as a "Quality Manager" or "Head of Quality Control." Experience must be within an industrial or service environment with established quality systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth and comprehensive knowledge of Quality Management System standards, specifically ISO 9001:2015. Experience with other standards like ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 is advantageous.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, build relationships with diverse stakeholders, and champion a quality culture within the organization.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Professional Certifications: Possession of professional certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 is highly preferred.
