Job Description

The appointed Quality Specialist will be integrated into a dedicated team responsible for ensuring that products or services meet the required high standards of quality, both locally and internationally. The core focus will be on developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance and process control plans.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of products or processes to identify any deviations from established standards.
• Analyze quality-related data and statistics to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
• Prepare detailed reports on audit and inspection findings and present recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant local and international standard specifications (e.g., ISO standards).
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Procurement departments to resolve quality issues at their root cause.
• Participate in the review of new product and process designs to ensure quality requirements are built in from the outset.
• Train staff on established company quality procedures and systems.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical), Science, or Quality Management.
• Professional certifications in quality (e.g., CQA, CQE, ISO Auditor) will be a strong added advantage.

Work Experience:

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in conducting internal quality audits and reporting.
• Practical knowledge of international quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).

Personal and Technical Skills:

• Strong analytical and investigative skills for complex problem-solving.
• Proficiency in using quality analysis tools such as Pareto analysis, Cause-and-Effect diagrams, Statistical charts.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) in both Arabic and English.
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office software.

Job Location

The workplace will be located in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer commercial area in Al-Qurain, Kuwait. This is a commercially active area hosting numerous industrial and service facilities.
