Recruitment Lead in Doha, Qatar

A prominent and distinguished market leader in Qatar is opening applications for the position of Recruitment Lead at its headquarters in the capital city, Doha. Job Overview

The Recruitment Lead will be the primary owner responsible for designing and implementing the company's comprehensive recruitment strategy. This role will lead the full recruitment lifecycle, from strategic workforce planning, through talent sourcing and attraction, to successful hiring completion. The Lead will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across various departments to precisely understand their needs and ensure recruitment processes align with the company's ambitious business objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead and develop an integrated, flexible recruitment strategy that meets the company's current and future growth needs.
  • Manage a specialized team of recruitment officers, providing guidance, coaching, and skills development to ensure the highest performance standards.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for all job levels, with a focus on leadership and specialized positions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with department heads to deeply understand team culture and role requirements.
  • Explore and utilize innovative and effective recruitment channels, including online job platforms, professional networks, and executive search firms.
  • Ensure an exceptional and positive candidate experience that reflects the company's employer brand as an employer of choice.
  • Develop and analyze recruitment Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess strategy effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay updated on recruitment best practices and market trends within the Qatari and Gulf job market.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) will be a distinct advantage.
  • A minimum of 7 years of practical experience in recruitment or talent management, with at least 3 years of proven experience in a leadership role (Team Lead or Manager).
  • Strong experience leading recruitment operations in a corporate environment, with a deep understanding of the Qatar and Gulf job market.
  • Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic will be a significant advantage.
  • Outstanding leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and drive a team towards goal achievement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, from executives to candidates.
  • Advanced knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and professional recruitment platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
