Regional Sales Manager (Scaffolding & Formworks) – Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia
A leading company in the construction materials and equipment sector is seeking to hire a Regional Sales Manager specialized in Scaffolding and Formworks products to be based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This position opens at a time when the construction and real estate development market in the Eastern Province is witnessing significant growth, driven by Vision 2030 and giga-projects, creating increased demand for advanced and safe construction solutions.
Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate for this pivotal role will be responsible for leading and developing sales operations within the designated geographical region. Key responsibilities include:
- Sales Strategy Leadership: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market share for scaffolding and formworks products in the Eastern Province.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key existing and potential clients, including construction contractors, real estate developers, and industrial entities.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base through proactive marketing, direct meetings, and participation in industry events.
- Sales Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, train, and monitor the performance of a team of sales representatives (if applicable) to ensure individual and team targets are met.
- Target Achievement: Direct responsibility for achieving set revenue and sales targets for the region, preparing regular performance and forecast reports.
- Technical Understanding: Provide technical and commercial support to clients, deeply understanding their project requirements to propose the most suitable scaffolding and formworks solutions.
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with marketing, logistics, and technical support departments to ensure customer satisfaction and deliver a seamless service.
Qualifications & Core Requirements
To qualify for this leadership opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
- Work Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in sales, with a strong and consistent focus on selling scaffolding and formworks products or related heavy construction equipment within the Saudi Arabian or Gulf market.
- Management Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams to deliver results.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the construction market in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, with a wide network of contacts and relationships with contractors and developers.
- Personal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills. Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical), Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications in sales or management are a plus.
- Language: Excellent command of both English and Arabic, spoken and written.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
