Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Reliability Engineer will be primarily responsible for ensuring the optimal and reliable operation of the company's construction equipment fleet. • Asset Lifecycle Management: Contribute to new equipment procurement decisions by evaluating the reliability of different models and providing technical input.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance, operations, and vendor teams to ensure the implementation of best practices and the continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
• Reporting: Develop periodic reports on reliability status, trend analysis, and present recommendations to management for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Experience: Proven work experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar role (Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Engineer), preferably within the heavy construction equipment trading/operations sector, manufacturing, or similar industrial fields.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) principles.
  • Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies and reliability improvement techniques.
  • Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to solve complex problems. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for interacting with diverse teams. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
