Job Description and Responsibilities

The successful supervisor will be appointed to directly oversee a team of delivery riders and will be responsible for the following operational and administrative aspects:

• Daily Supervision: Directing and monitoring the performance of the rider team during shifts to ensure adherence to delivery schedules and agreed-upon service standards.
• Training & Development: Providing ongoing coaching and guidance to new and existing team members, organizing training sessions on safety protocols, customer service, and the use of job-specific applications and technology.
• Quality Assurance: Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as delivery time, satisfaction rate, and ratings, and working on their continuous improvement.
• Problem-Solving: Addressing any immediate obstacles hindering the delivery process, whether technical, logistical, or human, and coordinating with other departments (e.g., customer service, technical support) to resolve them.
• Schedule Management: Assisting in preparing work shift schedules for the team and ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and holidays.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all delivery riders comply with Kuwait's traffic laws and regulations, occupational safety standards, and the company's internal policies.
• Reporting: Preparing periodic reports on team productivity, incidents, violations, and other observations for senior management.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be a suitable candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of prior work experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably within the fast delivery, logistics, restaurant, or retail sector.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve targets, possessing excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Organizational Skills: High ability to manage priorities, multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Good familiarity with using smartphone applications, task management software, and online communication tools.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work during flexible hours which may include weekends or evening peak periods.
• Driver's License: Possessing a valid driver's license in the State of Kuwait is considered a fundamental advantage in most cases.
