Required Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for these roles, candidates should possess the following:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial) or a related science field, OR a recognized diploma/certification in HSE (such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
- Work Experience: Proven practical experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar role (Safety Officer or HSE Supervisor), preferably within the construction, industrial projects, or facilities management sectors.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HSE management systems (e.g., OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001) and relevant Bahraini legislation.
- Personal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written), strong leadership and influencing abilities, and a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to work.
- Professional Certification: A professional safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH International General Certificate) is a significant advantage.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English for communication and report writing. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
