Required Qualifications and Skills
To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field (e.g., Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a discipline related to the company's field of operations).
- Work Experience: Proven work experience of 3 to 5 years in a relevant field, with a strong preference for experience in roles that combine engineering and sales (Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, etc.). Experience in the construction or engineering materials sector within the Kuwaiti or GCC market is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to read drawings and quickly comprehend technical specifications. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English. The ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and persuasive manner to clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Personal Attributes: A proactive, self-motivated individual capable of working independently and as part of a team. High negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on customer service and building long-term relationships.
- Additional Requirements: A valid driver's license and own vehicle (typically required for client visits and mobility).
