Job Description

The Sales Manager will hold a pivotal leadership position within the hotel's organizational structure. The role will focus on developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to boost room occupancy and increase revenue from various market segments. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team, building strategic relationships with key accounts, and exploring new market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the local sales team, providing mentorship and support to achieve performance targets.
• Develop annual and quarterly sales plans and strategies, and ensure their precise execution.
• Target and develop new clientele in corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), travel agency, and local/international corporate segments.
• Manage relationships with existing key accounts to ensure their satisfaction and continued business.
• Analyze market and competitor data to identify trends and potential opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver professional proposals and presentations that meet client needs and enhance the Hilton brand value.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Revenue, and Reservations departments to achieve shared revenue goals.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, target achievement, and revenue forecasts for senior management.
• Represent Hilton Hotels at relevant local trade events and exhibitions.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism & Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality or hotel sales, with at least 2 years of proven experience in a leadership role (Sales Team Leader or Sales Manager).
• Deep understanding of the hospitality and hotel market in Kuwait and the Gulf region.
• Strong professional network within the business and travel sectors in Kuwait.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to build long-term trust-based relationships.
• Full proficiency in both English and Arabic, written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills for working with data and preparing reports.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a target-driven environment.
• A leadership personality that motivates and drives a team towards excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with international hotel brands.
• Knowledge of industry-specific Property Management Systems (PMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
• Attendance of specialized training courses in hospitality sales or revenue management.
