Job Description and Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will hold a pivotal role within the sales and marketing team, responsible for leading and executing sales strategies to drive market share and increase revenue for the establishment. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing comprehensive sales strategies for the hospitality project's services and products (Hotel/Resort/Luxury Dining).
- Identifying and targeting new market opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, including travel agencies, corporate accounts, and individual patrons.
- Preparing and delivering professional proposals and presentations that meet and exceed client expectations.
- Meeting and exceeding set sales targets and revenue goals within specified timelines.
- Preparing regular reports and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Working closely with Marketing, Operations, and Revenue Management departments to ensure message alignment and achieve common objectives.
- Supervising and mentoring the sales team (if applicable) to achieve optimal performance.
- Representing the brand at local and international industry trade shows and events.
Requirements and Qualifications
To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism & Hospitality, or a related field.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a strong focus and proven specialization in the luxury hospitality and hotel sector. Experience in the Qatari or GCC market is a significant advantage.
- Personal Skills:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills in both English and Arabic.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and drive a team towards goals.
- In-depth understanding of pricing strategies and revenue management within hospitality.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
- A dynamic personality with a proven ability to build an extensive network.
- Technical Skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Property Management Systems (PMS), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
