Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company's commercial growth and achieving its financial targets. Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and Developing Sales Strategies: Formulating and executing comprehensive sales plans for the office interior design and fit-out sector, targeting both local and international companies in Dubai and the UAE.
- Managing the Full Sales Cycle: From prospecting and lead generation to delivering presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Building and Maintaining Strong Client Relationships: Developing a wide professional network with facilities managers, procurement heads, real estate agents, and commercial project developers.
- Deep Product/Service Knowledge: Having thorough knowledge of the company's range of office fit-out services, materials used, and the latest trends in commercial interior design.
- Leading the Sales Team: Guiding and motivating the sales team (if applicable), providing training, setting individual and team performance targets, and monitoring KPIs.
- Reporting and Analysis: Preparing detailed periodic sales performance reports, conducting market analysis, and providing data-driven recommendations for strategy improvement.
- Professional Company Representation: Representing the company at trade shows and industry events to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
Qualifications & Essential Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Experience: Proven track record of 5 to 7 years in sales, with a strong focus on sales of interior design, fit-outs, construction materials, or solutions for commercial/office spaces. Experience in the Dubai or GCC market is a significant advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering (Civil/Interior), or a related field.
- Personal Skills: A leadership personality with strong negotiation skills and exceptional communication and persuasion abilities (verbal and written) in both English and Arabic.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the commercial real estate and fit-out market in Dubai, including knowledge of key competitors and prevailing trends.
- Personal Attributes: Ability to work under pressure to meet targets, self-motivated, a team player with the ability to build long-term professional relationships.
