Job Description

The Security System Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of integrated security system infrastructure. This role operates in a dynamic environment, committed to providing advanced security solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key responsibilities will include:

• Design & Engineering: Designing integrated security systems encompassing Video Surveillance (CCTV) systems, Access Control systems, Intrusion & Fire Alarm systems, Perimeter Protection systems, and other technical security solutions.
• Implementation & Supervision: Overseeing the installation and integration of new security systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and agreed-upon standards.
• Maintenance & Technical Support: Conducting routine and preventive maintenance on existing systems, diagnosing faults, and performing effective repairs to minimize system downtime.
• Testing & Evaluation: Testing the efficiency and effectiveness of implemented systems, preparing detailed performance reports, and recommending improvements.
• Training & Support: Providing necessary technical support and training to operations teams and clients on the use of installed systems.
• Continuous Development: Keeping abreast of the latest developments and technologies in the security systems field to propose and implement upgrades that enhance protection levels.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, or any related engineering field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in security and safety systems engineering, with a proven track record in managing integrated security system projects.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of CCTV systems from manufacturers such as Hikvision, Dahua, Axis.
  • Hands-on experience with Access Control systems like Gallagher, Lenel, Genetec.
  • Understanding of Intrusion and Fire Alarm systems.
  • Good knowledge of Networking principles and system integration over IP protocols.
• Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, PSP, CISSP, or vendor-specific certifications from system manufacturers are considered a strong advantage.
• Personal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team and in a multitasking environment, attention to detail and accuracy, and strong problem-solving abilities for complex issues.
