Job Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in building, maintaining, and enhancing the cloud infrastructure and systems that support the company's technical production operations across major UAE cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and security of core systems, enabling creative and development teams to work seamlessly towards project goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on scalability, resilience, and security.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines to automate application build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage and configure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system and application performance, implementing proactive solutions to address bottlenecks and technical issues.
• Ensure infrastructure and network security by implementing security best practices and tools.
• Work closely with software development and production teams to understand technical requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
• Write and maintain technical documentation and operational standards.
• Provide guidance and technical support to other team members as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven hands-on experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role.
• In-depth practical experience working with major public cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools and frameworks like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
• Solid understanding of computer networking and information security.
• Experience with database management (SQL & NoSQL) is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
