Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Senior Director will spearhead the ambitious project to transform MRO operations towards full automation and digitalization. You will be directly responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of this pivotal initiative. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership & Planning: Develop the overarching vision and execution strategy for the Automated MRO Transformation Project, aligning with the company's long-term objectives and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
• End-to-End Project Management: Oversee all project phases from initiation to delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality management.
• Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing project team comprising technology, operations, engineering, and digital transformation experts. Foster talent and ensure effective collaboration across all stakeholders.
• Technology Integration & Innovation: Evaluate, select, and implement cutting-edge technological solutions such as advanced robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and predictive analytics to transform manual processes into intelligent automated workflows.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with C-suite executives, clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure full alignment and secure necessary support and approvals.
• Performance Measurement & Reporting: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track project progress, measure ROI, and prepare detailed periodic reports for senior management.
• Compliance & Standards Assurance: Ensure all project processes and implemented technologies comply with the highest safety, quality, and local/international regulatory standards (e.g., FAA, EASA in aviation contexts).

Qualifications & Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this senior leadership role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial) or a related technical field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA, Project Management) is highly preferred.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in operations or major project management, with a strong focus on the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector, preferably within aviation, energy, or heavy manufacturing industries. This must include at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Digital Transformation Expertise: A proven track record of successfully leading and implementing large-scale digital transformation or automation projects, with hands-on knowledge of smart factory and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, team motivation, and strategic decision-making abilities in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a strong plus), with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to senior executives.
