Job Overview

The Senior Manager – Treasury will hold a pivotal role within the company's financial structure, serving as the primary authority for setting and executing treasury management strategies. The focus will be on ensuring optimal liquidity, operational efficiency, and financial risk mitigation. This role will work closely with senior management and other finance departments to achieve the company's strategic financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive treasury management strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
• Liquidity & Cash Flow Management: Oversee short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting, ensure sufficient liquidity is available to fund operations and growth, and optimize returns on cash surpluses.
• Financial Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage key financial risks, including foreign exchange (FX) risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.
• Banking Relationships: Manage and develop relationships with local and international banks and financial institutions, negotiating credit terms and banking services.
• Financing & Debt: Manage the company's debt portfolio, including negotiating loan terms, overseeing issuance of sukuk/bonds if required, and ensuring compliance with lending covenants.
• Investments: Develop and manage a secure and liquid investment strategy for cash surpluses in line with company policy.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure full compliance with all relevant local and international treasury regulations. Prepare accurate and timely treasury status reports for senior management.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and develop the treasury team (if applicable) to ensure high performance.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certifications (e.g., ACT, CTP, CFA) is a significant advantage.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in treasury or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Manager or Senior level). Experience in the Omani or GCC market is a strong plus.
• Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in treasury management principles, risk management tools, and online trading systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters). Strong knowledge of local and international financial regulations.
• Personal Skills: Strong leadership and managerial abilities. Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels. High accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
