Job Overview

The Senior Network Architect will play a pivotal role within the company's IT department, serving as the principal authority for the strategic design and long-term planning of the corporate network. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Architectural Design: Lead the design and development of network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, Data Center, Cloud) to meet high-performance demands and future scalability.
• Strategic Planning: Develop network evolution plans and strategies, including migration to new technologies such as SD-WAN, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Cybersecurity Integration: Embed cybersecurity principles into the core network design, ensuring the implementation of best practices and security protocols (e.g., segmentation, next-gen firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Performance & Efficiency Management: Monitor network performance, analyze trends, and propose optimizations to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Technical Leadership & Support: Provide advanced technical support to the network team, lead upgrade and expansion projects, and produce accurate technical documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including Information Security, Systems, and Software Development, to ensure seamless integration of solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a significant advantage.
• Professional Certifications: A globally recognized expert-level networking certification such as CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), JNCIE (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert), or equivalent from other major vendors. Security certifications like CISSP are a major plus.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a network architect or lead designer role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Deep mastery of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).
  • Strong experience in designing data center and wide area networks (WAN).
  • Advanced knowledge of network security technologies (Firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Solid understanding of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and SD-WAN concepts.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities. Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
