Job Description & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will occupy a critical position within the IT team, responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and integrity of the company's vital network infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and managing Local and Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Planning and enforcing stringent security policies to protect information assets and networks from evolving cyber threats.
• Continuously monitoring network performance, analyzing traffic, and proactively detecting and responding to security incidents.

• Preparing and updating technical documentation for network design, security policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Providing Level 3 technical support to resolve complex network and security issues, working closely with other IT teams.
• Staying abreast of the latest security threats, technological trends, and best practices in networking and cybersecurity.

Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this specialized role, you must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in managing and securing networks within large, complex enterprise environments.
• Deep practical experience with network equipment and concepts from leading vendors such as Cisco (CCNP Security level preferred), Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or Juniper.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and routing (e.g., BGP, OSPF), switching, and network security.
